Instead of viewing the PDF files on your PC or Mac using Adobe Acrobat (which can be very slow), view it online using PdfMeNot. It even allows you to embed a pdf page on your website.

Eye-Fi SD Card automatically uploads pictures from the camera to Mac or PC (as well as on-line photo sharing site such as Flickr). The photos are transmitted wireless from your camera through home Wi-Fi network. Basically this eliminates the need to hook up your camera or memory card to a USB port to upload the images. There is also an adapter to use the Eye-Fi SC card on some CF digital camera.

1. Connect or re-connect with business colleagues or friends.
2. Staying informed: when your colleagues changed positions, you can see what they are doing.
3. Stay in touch: as your colleges changed jobs and/or their email addresses, you will always have an up-to-date contacts.

Three Quick Start Steps:
1. Get an account at http://www.linkedin.com & create a simple profile of where you have worked (and school).
2. Search for a few colleagues who are already in LinkedIn, when you find someone you would like to connect to, click “Add… to your network”
3. Once you have a few people to your network, check their connections to find other common colleagues.

If you are a regular Gmail users (on Firefox), then Remember The Milk + Gmail Firefox Extension (task management) is really slick. It integrates task/to do seamlessly with Gmail. Read the blog for more detail.

The new Google iPhone optimized page — three particularly great services: Gmail, Google Calendar, and Google Reader. Of course now that Gmail supports IMAP, it’s a very sweet set up on iPhone.

Jott has been expanding it’s functionality with integration to other online services (via Jott’s Links). Three outstanding must have services:
1. Google Calendar: Call Jott and it will place your appointment into your Google Calendar
2. Xpenser.com tracks your expenses, again call Jott and it will add your expense to Xpenser
3. Jott to Twitter/Jaiku (and other blogging platforms: Blogger, Tumblr, WordPress, TypePad)

reQall helps you remember stuff (to do, tasks). For example, when you are driving and need to jot down a note or task, use reQall to help taking down the note. All you have to do is call: 1-888-973-7255 and dictate your text (you have up to 60 seconds).
It uses transcription services to convert voice to text (similar to Jott.com), however, reQall and iPhone UI work together really well. (http://www.reqall.com/web/). Jott can do more in term of converting your voice into emails that can be sent to other, but I found that reQall.com on iPhone is a killer app for me. It’s a free service.

Desktop Tower Defense is a simple flash-based game - you build a set of defense to prevent the little critters from breaking through. Very basic graphics yet it goes to show you don’t need fancy graphics to have excellent (and very addictive) game play.

Don’t start if you don’t have an hour to spare!! Consider this a fair warning.

Grandcentral.com lets you select and give out one number that will ring to your mobile, home, and even Gizmo SIP. Plus you can screen your call (listen while the caller left voicemail), and even record the call impromptu. Check messages via email and web. Clean interface and easy to use. Free right now while in beta.

I read of a man who stood to speak
At the funeral of a friend
He referred to the dates on her tombstone
From the beginning to the end

He noted that first came her date of her birth
And spoke the following date with tears,
But he said what mattered most of all
Was the dash between those years

For that dash represents all the time
That she spent alive on earth.
And now only those who loved her
Know what that little line is worth.

For it matters not how much we own;
The cars, the house, the cash,
What matters is how we live and love
And how we spend our dash.

So think about this long and hard.
Are there things you’d like to change?
For you never know how much time is left,
That can still be rearranged.

If we could just slow down enough
To consider what’s true and real
And always try to understand
The way other people feel.

And be less quick to anger,
And show appreciation more
And love the people in our lives
Like we’ve never loved before.

If we treat each other with respect,
And more often wear a smile
Remembering that this special dash
Might only last a little while.

So, when your eulogy is being read
With your life’s actions to rehash
